Brief Bio

Dr. Oliveira is a space physics research in the Geospace Physics Laboratory of NASA Goddard, affiliated with PHaSER /UMBC. His research is centered at interplanetary shocks, including those generated by coronal mass ejections, and thier influence on plasma processes in the geospace.

Public outreach

Dr. Oliveira maintans a public database of interplanetary shock events covering more than 20 years of WIND and ACE solar wind and IMF observations
